We’re excited to share another major upgrade as part of our continued dedication to improving the facility and offering the best experience possible for our skaters, hockey players, families, and community.
Drumroll please… we’re getting a brand-new chiller! And this one is a game changer.
The new chiller has arrived, and once installed and fully operational, it will:
Increase our refrigeration capacity by 20%, creating colder, more consistent ice
Be far more energy efficient, helping reduce electric costs
Replace a 30-year-old chiller, dramatically improving reliability
Be monitored remotely to boost efficiency and reduce downtime
And yes… it’s much better on the eyes than the previous.
This upgrade is a huge step forward in our long-term plan for Peconic Ice Rinks and a clear sign of the progress we’re committed to making, on the ice and behind the scenes.
We’ll be sharing photos and videos of the install and finished setup, so stay tuned to see this beauty in action.
A HUGE THANK YOU
